What kind of foundation does a dome require? |

The dome itself is relatively light and does not accumulate large amounts of snow, hence significant savings in foundation costs can be achieved. Typically domes are built on a concrete slab, crawl space or full foundation. Small domes with a stiffened floor system can also be placed on pad foundations.
